Petrobras Disclosed Values on Its Website Ranging from 3.75% to 3.99%, Reflecting the First Increase in 3 Months
Petrobras announced on Wednesday night (31-07) a new adjustment in the prices of diesel and gasoline, with both having their prices increased. Gasoline was adjusted to R$ 0.0658 and diesel to R$ 0.0757, noting that these are average prices and may vary according to the refinery.

In practice, gasoline is leaving Petrobras refineries with an average price of R$ 1.6457 to R$ 1.7115 (3.99%) and diesel from R$ 2.0205 to R$ 2.0962 (3.74%), both with their first increase after 3 months. It is worth noting that these values are being considered as cash prices, free of taxes and charges and do not reflect the final price when considering distribution and marketing services for the fuels. “Our pricing policy for gasoline and diesel sold to distributors is based on the import parity price, formed by the international quotations of these products plus the costs that importers would have, such as transportation and port fees, for example,” Petrobras informed in a statement.
