Petrobras, Brazil’s largest oil company, will sign a deal next Friday, September 10, with the Government of the state of Rio de Janeiro to enable economic recovery in the Oil and Gas sector.

The agreement is about the letter of intent with the state-owned company for the transfer of areas of the GasLub Pole, the former Comperj, which is equivalent to 4,167 soccer fields.
The government of Rio de Janeiro wants to explore the potential of the infrastructure of the pole located in Itaboraí, such as the pre-salt drainage pipeline and the Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPGN) for natural gas treatment, to attract large industries.
