City Hall of Rio de Janeiro announces 408 job vacancies for primary, secondary and higher education; free online courses are also offered

The Rio de Janeiro City Hall announced a total of 408 job vacancies that will be filled in the city; see how to apply

Finding a good job opportunity is something that millions of Brazilians dream about. Thinking about it, the Municipal Department of Labor and Income of Rio (SMTE), from the city of Rio de Janeiro, made available in its folder more than 400 job vacancies for the most diverse levels of education. Of the 408, a total of 129 vacancies will be reserved for people with disabilities. The city also closed an agreement to make online courses available Services.

The City Hall of Rio de Janeiro is offering vacancies in free training courses in the city, in search of quality workers. The city hall signed an agreement this week with Instituto Crescer. The partnership aims to offer a total of 60 places in online courses. A prefecture believes that by adding new skills and knowledge to young people's curriculum, employability in the city will increase. 

How to register for online courses

The free online courses will have the following categories: English, financial education, digital culture and others. Applications must be made through the official website of the project in Rio de Janeiro: https://geracaocrescer.org.br/web/cursos/. 

How to apply for jobs in Rio de Janeiro?  

Workers must make register for job openings at the Municipal Employment Centers (Tijuca, Rua Camaragibe, 25; and Jacarepaguá, Avenida Geremário Dantas, 1400 – room 102). Another possibility, this being the most practical, is via email: vacancies.smte@gmail.com.
