Senac Invites Interested Parties to Enroll in Free Courses in Tourism and Foreign Trade

Senac Offers A Unique Opportunity For Professional Qualification In Tourism And Foreign Trade, Aiming To Transform Careers And Promote Social Inclusion, Focused On Free Courses For Professionals From Different Regions Of Brazil.

The National Service for Commercial Learning (Senac) is opening enrollment for free courses aimed at professional qualification in tourism and foreign trade.

The initiative, in partnership with the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services (MDIC) and the Raízes Comex program, aims to provide new opportunities for people interested in developing in these sectors.

According to the institution, enrollment for foreign trade courses is available until May 5, 2025, and for tourism courses, enrollment can be done until April 25 of the same year.

These opportunities are particularly aimed at the black population, with the goal of promoting social and professional inclusion.

Foreign Trade: Training With Focus On Diversity And Inclusion

The Brazilian foreign trade sector is constantly growing, creating a demand for qualified professionals.

With this in mind, Senac, in partnership with MDIC and the Raízes Comex program, offers free courses aimed at boosting the inclusion of black individuals in the job market, promoting the diversification of career perspectives in this sector.

For this edition, Senac is offering two main courses:

  • Professional Qualification in Foreign Trade Services Assistant: With 60 spots distributed among the cities of Recife (PE), Salvador (BA), and Vitória (ES), this course aims to train professionals to work in the foreign trade sector. Enrollment can be done until May 5, 2025.
  • Technical Course in Foreign Trade: With 20 spots for the city of Rio Grande (RS), the technical course offers more in-depth training, emphasizing international trade techniques and practices. Enrollment also goes until May 5, 2025.

The training of these professionals not only opens doors in the job market but also represents an important initiative in combating racial inequality in Brazil.

Priority is given to black individuals, both black and brown, with a minimum age of 16 years and a family income of up to two minimum wages per capita.

However, spots are not exclusive, and interested individuals from other ethnicities can also enroll if the spots designated for the black population are not fully occupied.

Tourism: Free Qualification In Various Regions Of Brazil

In addition to opportunities in foreign trade, Senac is also offering free courses in the tourism sector, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism (MTur).

With a total of 1,840 spots, these trainings are available in various regions of Brazil and aim to qualify professionals to meet the growing demand in the tourism sector, which continues to expand after the challenges imposed by the pandemic.

The course has a significant number of spots and covers various areas of tourism, offering training for both beginners and those looking to enhance their skills.

The courses are offered in the following regions:

  • Northern Region: Acre, Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima, and Tocantins.
  • Northeastern Region: Ceará, Maranhão, Pernambuco, Piauí, and Rio Grande do Norte.
  • Central-Western Region: Federal District, Goiás, Mato Grosso, and Mato Grosso do Sul.
  • Southern Region: Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.
  • Southern Region: Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, and Santa Catarina.

These courses cover a wide range of areas, from tourism management to customer service, focusing on practical skills that are essential for those who wish to work or are already working in the sector.
