Industrial technicians will leave the Confea Crea System and will be governed by the Federal Council of Industrial Technicians (CFT)
As of September 21, mid-level industrial technicians will be inspected by another Federal body and no longer by the Confea/Crea system. They will be supervised and inspected by the Federal Council of Industrial Technicians (CFT) formed on June 22, 2018. The new entity is following a determination governed by the law 13.639, created in March 2018. The “law was sanctioned by the Presidency of the Republic that created the Federal Council of Industrial Technicians and this is the body that will regulate and supervise their professional activity”.
Industrial Technicians

Occupational safety technicians are in the so-called special group and remain in the Confea/Crea System. See the full list at CFT website. After September 20th, there will be no more Creas activities for industrial technicians. The records of these professionals will already be under the responsibility of the CFT.
