Industrial Logistics Complex of Macaé Already Demarcated Due to Marlim Azul; First of Seven Plants That Will Make Macaé, in 4 Years, the City of Energy.

Macaé, the City of Energy, is already possible to feel the path of progress and prosperity amidst the intense rhythm of machines and operators working in areas of thousands of square meters located by the RJ-168, bringing to memory the “boom” of oil, originating in the 80s with the occupation of Imbetiba by Petrobras. The good news doesn’t stop there, the Port Terminal of Macaé receives preliminary license and will generate about 18,000 new job vacancies!

The Macaé of the future grows in the west. Two projects mark the city’s turnaround from periods of uncertainty and lead to a new moment, reaffirmed by positive evidence of 2,100 new job vacancies registered by the city from January to October of this year.

It is already possible to see from the road the division of the lots that have been designated for the construction of Marlim Azul, the first of seven plants that make up the CLIMA – Industrial Logistics Complex of Macaé, which will make the city recognized within the next four years as the City of Energy.

The thermoelectric plant that is in the licensing phase was financed by Mitsubishi, Shell, and Pátria Investimentos for about US$ 700 million.

The city also has the Cabiúnas Terminal, which will provide not only the establishment of industries from different sectors but also consolidate a new urban development and infrastructure hub, which already has substantial investments from the city government.

The Santa Tereza Ring Road, a road that connects the RJ-168 to the Parque dos Tubos region, also begins to take shape, generating in the region another axis of logistical movement to serve oil and gas market companies.

Macaé advances bringing back memories of regional representativeness achieved over 40 years of oil rise, keeping the population firmly hopeful for better days amidst the deep marks left by the crisis.

The positive effects are already beginning to be felt in the local economy, due to the projects and billions in consolidated investments, leading to a new moment that marks the Macaé of the future.
