A driver who had never delivered for Shopee accepted the first route via the app, loaded 114 packages into a pickup truck, organized everything by tens in the parking lot, and left for 63 stops in Matias Velho, the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, driving only 23 km of route and 48 km all day.

Shopee sends the route notification via the app in the early morning, and the delivery person accepts or declines. The channel André Valvassori documented the entire process of the first time, from registration at the hub’s reception to the last delivery. He arrived at the distribution center at 6 AM, completed the biometric registration, put on a vest, wore boots, and waited about an hour in line before starting to load. At the hub, it is prohibited to wear rings, earrings, or piercings without gloves.

The loading works like this: the employees scan the packages and hand them out five at a time. The driver counts along. If the count does not match the system’s, everything must be unloaded and recounted. In his case, it matched at 114 packages with no errors. But he left the hub only at 10 AM because it took time to get organized.

How to organize 114 packages inside a pickup truck without wasting time

The delivery person made the first route on Shopee with 114 packages and 63 stops in 23 km. Drove little but took 7 hours. See how much they pay and how to organize.

The tip that made the difference came from a friend who already worked at Shopee: separate the packages by tens. From 1 to 10 in the front, from 11 to 20 right behind, and so on up to 63 (which was the number of the last stop).

Without this organization, the delivery person can’t even start, because there are packages of different sizes thrown inside the vehicle without any order.

Another detail that surprised the driver was the concept of “stop”.

The app showed 63 stops, but each stop can have two, three, or four packages for different people on the same street. He thought there were three volumes for the same customer and got confused at the beginning.

After he understood the logic, he began to navigate the map instead of following the numerical order, making deliveries based on geographical proximity and filling in the map as he progressed.

How much Shopee pays per route and per km driven in practice

The delivery person made the first route on Shopee with 114 packages and 63 stops over 23 km. Drove little but took 7 hours. See how much they pay and how to organize.

The delivery person did not have the exact amount confirmed on the day of the recording but reported that other drivers in the area mention two ranges: R$ 312 per day plus R$ 0.60 per km driven or R$ 330 per day plus R$ 0.60 per km.

He intends to confirm the amounts and share in the next video. According to data from Shopee itself released in reports from 2025, the remuneration varies by region, volume of deliveries, and type of vehicle.

For reference, an experienced delivery person interviewed by the newspaper O Tempo in December 2025 reported making between 100 and 120 deliveries per day, working three days a week, with a daily average of R$ 335.

In the calculation of the beginner who documented the first route, the total of 48 km for the day (14 km from home to the hub, 23 km of route, and 11 km back) would yield between R$ 340 and R$ 360 gross, before deducting fuel and vehicle wear.

He himself acknowledged that he drives little, which saves gasoline, but the number of stops is high and requires physical endurance.

Most articles about delivery on Shopee explain registration, requirements, and estimated amounts. None show what happens when the driver stops in the parking lot with 114 mixed packages and needs to decide where to start.

The delivery person took 7 hours to complete the 63 stops, starting at 10 AM and finishing after 5 PM, on a day when he acknowledged getting lost several times.

He compared it to his previous experience at Taqui Stores, where the maximum was 30 deliveries per day, each stop with one package for one customer.

At Shopee, the volume is four times greater and the logic of the stops is different. For those thinking of starting, the message is clear: organize by dozens before leaving the parking lot, go by the map instead of numerical order, and accept that the first day will be chaotic.

And you, have you worked or are you thinking of working as a Shopee delivery person? Do you think R$ 300 and a few per day compensates for the wear of 114 packages or do you prefer private freight? Comment below.
