In The State Of Bahia, Investments Mainly In The Clean Energy Generation Sector Can Generate Various Jobs In The State
According to data from the government of the state of Bahia, over the past five years, more than 600 intentions protocols have been signed to attract investments to the state. The SDE – Secretariat of Economic Development currently oversees the implementation of more than 300 projects with signed intentions protocols. The estimate is that these investments will generate 36,300 jobs and 28 billion reais will be invested in various locations in Bahia.

If all intention protocols are implemented, the expectation is that the project completion will generate 686,000 job openings in the state, with a total investment of 54.5 billion reais.
According to João Leão, the Deputy Governor and Secretary of Economic Development, he assessed the efforts to develop new businesses in Bahia. He emphasized that the clean energy generation sector is a new wave of resources in the state, creating job opportunities.
