Investments in the Espírito Santo Factory Reached R$ 100 Million
Starting its activities with just a small store in the state of São Paulo, Cacau Show now has 19,500 employees and is the largest franchisor in Brazil, with approximately 3,700 stores across the country.
The company’s plans to invest in Espírito Santo emerged after the construction of the factory in Linhares, where the Leão Alimentos factory was located, which had investments of R$ 100 million in its construction.
With this increase, Cacau Show in Espírito Santo brought the planting of its chocolate productions closer and ensured greater control over the cocoa fruit used to manufacture its products.
According to Alexandre Costa: “We have the Dedo de Deus farm in Linhares for almost 10 years in Espírito Santo. We were lucky to find the old Leão Alimentos factory with 50,000 m² of built area, which was an invitation to expand our business and export our products, due to its proximity to ports. In addition, we have a megastore and the Cacau Show Institute in front of the factory.
Overwhelming Growth Plan for 2023 in Espírito Santo
Cacau Show’s growth plan for 2023 is as overwhelming as that of 2022, as the company hired a consulting firm to conduct acquisitions worldwide, aiming to further accelerate its business.
In addition to the new factory, the company also plans to build a theme park centered around chocolate, which is expected to be completed in up to 3 years, covering an area of 500,000 m².
Cacau Show’s revenue is estimated at R$ 5.3 billion, 30% above the projected figure for the end of 2022. According to the CEO: “The secret is to be competitive. Doing things well at a high cost and poorly at a low cost is something everyone can do. The challenge is to do it well at a low cost.”
