Federal Institute of Fluminense Will Resume Stalled Works at Itaboraí Campus, Metropolitan Region of RJ, and There Is Expectation for Jobs
With the resumption of works at COMPERJ and the announcement of new projects at the site (thermoelectric plant and lubricant factory), it will be very important and urgent to provide professional qualification in the region. In this scenario, the works of the Federal Institute of Fluminense Campus in Itaboraí, which had been stalled for years, will be resumed.

The works of the Federal Institute of Fluminense (IFF) have been stalled since 2016, and there is a forecast for resumption next year. The deadline for project completion is one year and eight months.
The Ministry of Education (MEC) will release R$ 4 million for the works at the IFF Campus in Itaboraí, in the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), check here.
The expectation is for job and income generation for the municipality. Approximately 70 teachers and 40 administrative technicians will work on site, in addition to security guards, cleaning professionals, and maintenance professionals.
For the works, around 100 workers will be employed. Itaboraí will see the resumption of the economy and the qualification of its residents.
