Ibitu Energia will build a new solar power complex in the municipality of Caldeirão Grande, in the state of Piauí, named Solar Caldeirão Grande 2. The project, with a capacity of 613 MW, will start construction in November this year, with an estimated investment of R$ 2.5 billion. The project is expected to be completed in 2024 and will create approximately 3,600 direct and indirect jobs over the next three years. New Jobs and Income for the State with the New Solar Complex
The solar power complex project was presented in a meeting with the government of Piauí that took place at the end of June. Named Caldeirão Grande 2, the plant will be built in three phases in the municipality of Caldeirão Grande. The project will generate 3,600 direct and indirect jobs over a period of three years.
According to the governor of Piauí, Wellington Dias, the government is working to expedite the licensing process so that Ibitu Energia can begin construction in November this year. The completion of the final phase is expected by 2024.

Celeo Redes Brazil Will Build a New Solar Power Park in the State of Piauí. This new project will have 400 to 500 megawatts of energy generated from solar panels, with operations expected to begin in January 2025. The investment, of around R$ 1.2 to 1.5 billion, will create more than a thousand job openings during the construction phase.
Celeo Redes Already Has an Operating Solar Park in São João do Piauí and Plans to Expand It to Double Its Production Capacity. The Company Is Also Building a 415-Kilometer Transmission Line to Connect the States of Piauí and Ceará, Which Is Expected to Enter Commercial Operation in April 2021.
The new solar power park will be located between the municipalities of Buriti dos Lopes and Bom Princípio do Piauí, in the northern part of the state. The investments to be made will boost the region and create many jobs in the state of Piauí.
