Integrated Oil and Gas Project by Eneva in Amazonas
Eneva is already operating in Amazonas, through the exploration of the Azulão Field, acquired from Petrobras in 2017, where it is executing the integrated project “Azulão-Jaguaritica.” The venture will receive around R$ 1.9 billion in investments, and the start of energy delivery is scheduled for 2021.
This Wednesday (12), the Amazonas Natural Gas Company (Cigás) and Eneva signed a contract for the purchase and sale of natural gas that will be produced through the “Azulão-Jaguatirica” project. The gas produced in the Azulão Field will be directed to thermal energy generation in Boa Vista (RR), at the Jaguatirica II Thermal Power Plant, also operated by Eneva.
