The Renewable Energy Generation Is Gaining New Technologies That Could Revolutionize The Market

Many of these technologies are still being refined and are not available on a large scale in the market. However, some have the potential to end our frantic need for fossil fuelsSee below the most promising technologies.

Oceans As A Source Of Energy

Another great way to generate energy is through turbines and tides. This technology uses the same technology as wind turbines; however, instead of using wind to generate electricity, these devices take advantage of the movement of the tides.

Paint That Generates Solar Energy

One technology that is under study and could be revolutionary is paint with the ability to generate energy. Many specialists from the industry believe this will be the next big novelty in renewable energy.

One of the examples of solar technology is the so-called “quantum dots” being developed by the University of Toronto. The idea is to use nanoscale semiconductors to capture sunlight and convert it into electrical energy.

Another significant technology that will certainly gain traction in the market in the coming years is solar windows. These devices are made with the same functionality as a conventional window; however, they are capable of generating solar energy.

Hydrogen Fuel Cells

This technology harnesses the chemical energy of hydrogen as a means of producing energy efficiently and cleanly. The cells use hydrogen as a fuel source.
