The LG StanbyME 2 Max arrives with a 32-inch 4K screen, internal battery, and integrated AI. Launched in South Korea for around R$ 3,400.
LG has officially introduced the StanbyME 2 Max, the most advanced version of its line of portable displays.
The new model comes with a 32-inch screen in 4K UHD resolution — a considerable leap from the previous model, which had a 27-inch Full HD image —, in addition to a processor with artificial intelligence, an internal battery, and a design that allows it to be used in different positions and environments.
The device has been available in South Korea since its launch, with an initial price of approximately 1.6 million KRW, equivalent to about R$ 3,400 in direct conversion.

What has changed compared to the previous model?
The main evolution is in the screen: in addition to growing from 27 to 32 inches, the resolution has made a significant jump from Full HD to 4K UHD, which means a much higher pixel density and considerably sharper image.
Internally, the device is equipped with the third-generation Alpha 8 AI processor, developed by LG.
According to the specialized site New Atlas, this chip employs artificial intelligence to interpret scenes in real-time, automatically adjusting the sharpness, contrast, and even the sound performance of the integrated speakers.
Additionally, the LG StanbyME 2 Max incorporates features like AI Upscaling and dynamic tone mapping, which work to enhance lower resolution images, bringing them closer to the 4K standard.

Portability and versatility: the new display’s differentials
The product’s proposal revolves around the freedom of use. The base with wheels allows the display to be moved around any room in the house. But the possibilities go beyond that:
- Detachable screen: with a simple attachment, the screen can be removed from the base and used independently
- Portrait mode: the display can be rotated to a vertical position or positioned as a digital photo frame mounted on the wall
- 144 Wh battery: offers approximately 4.5 hours of use without needing a power outlet
- Automatic and USB-C charging: the battery recharges itself when the display is docked in the base, but it also accepts charging via USB-C cable
LG StanbyME 2 Max: software and available applications
The operating system is LG’s own, with native compatibility with streaming platforms like Netflix, YouTube, and Apple TV.
The device also supports drawing tools and video calls, as long as it is connected to an external camera.

When will it arrive in Brazil?
For now, the LG StanbyME 2 Max is only available in the South Korean market, and the manufacturer has not yet confirmed dates for its global launch.
However, the expectation — based on the history of the previous model, which followed the same path — is that the product will arrive in other countries, including Brazil, in the coming months.
Therefore, those interested in LG’s new portable display can follow the brand’s official announcements to find out when and at what price the product will be available here.
