The PAC will be the first Online Monitoring Center for Industrial Machines in Minas Gerais and will become an international reference by remotely managing, in real time, the performance of equipment. The strategy enables greater predictability against premature or unforeseen failures, increasing factory productivity and minimizing, even, the risks of accidents.

The technological innovation accompanies ICRO Digital, a startup incubated alongside NidusTec and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Agency of UNIFAL-MG. The unit will also contribute to the technological and global positioning of the State as it will promote the alignment of manufacturing needs, related to the context of Industry 4.0, with the resources and structure of the University, including researchers, strengthening the focus on Research, Development & Innovation of high value-added technologies, using Artificial Intelligence for the generation of autonomous machines concerning maintenance and conservation decisions.
