Modec, through its official recruitment portal, announced on Thursday, July 25, opportunities for the positions of Integrity Engineer, Integrity Intern for onshore activities, and Systems Control Technician for offshore activities. Candidates must be available to work in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.

Deal closed, Petrobras signs with Modec for the construction of the FPSO for Búzios V. In a bidding process that had been dragging on for over a year, Petrobras announces the signing of a letter of intent with the Japanese Modec for the charter of the FPSO for Búzios V. The FPSO will be used in the Santos basin, in the production sharing contract, and will be installed 180 km off the Brazilian coast, in water depths of 1,900 meters.
