In 2020, the company renewed its energy matrix project.
The company signed a contract with Enel Green Power, substituting its demand with renewable energy. As a result, the industrial complex is now supplied with an impressive 90% wind energy, with 10% from thermoelectric/hydroelectric sources. This change is significant compared to the past, where 65% was hydroelectric and 35% thermoelectric. Consequently, the environment will be less impacted by non-renewable energy sources.
