The distribution center is located along the river on the Immigrants Highway. The new facility is very close to São Bernardo and strategically located: near Santos and Guarujá, the most important port in Latin America and the largest and most efficient container terminal in South America, where Santos Brasil operates.
The Immigrants CD is situated in a gated community with modern and secure infrastructure. It features laser-leveled flooring, a 12-meter clearance, 13 docks with levelers, and a fire protection system with J4 nozzles. It is receiving state-of-the-art equipment, such as new pallet racks and articulated forklifts that can be operated in confined spaces, increasing the area’s productivity.

According to Ricardo Buteri, commercial director of Santos Brasil, “The new CD will allow us to expand our operations in general warehousing, serving more customers in the one-stop-shop model – where we handle the cargo from the port to the final destination, centralizing all logistics chain services in a single interface – and new customers who do not require bonded areas but need customized logistics services, with the security and guarantee of the services already recognized by Santos Brasil.”
