The construction company FG Empreendimentos announced on April 18 that it has partnered with Havan’s owner, businessman Luciano Hang, to build the tallest building in the world. The residential building will be erected in Balneário Camboriú, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina, and will be called Triumphu Tower. The building will have a height of 509 meters and 154 floors (initially). There is no forecast yet for when construction will begin, but the project is expected to be launched in the second half of 2024. Could this be an attempt to surpass the Burj Dubai which stands over 800 meters, located in the United Arab Emirates?

The Triumphu Tower is set to take the place of the Steinway Tower, located in New York, currently considered the tallest residential building in the world, according to the international ranking of The Skyscraper Center.
In addition, the building being constructed in Balneário Camboriú will surpass other notable buildings in Brazil and worldwide, such as the One Tower, also built by FG Empreendimentos, which has a height of 290 meters and 84 floors, and may even start to approach the level of Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed, a skyscraper located in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, considered the tallest skyscraper ever built by man, standing at 828 meters and 160 floors.
