The new production value adopted by Petrobras will represent a decrease of 3.2% compared to the volume extracted – as a consortium – in February, which was 2.139 million barrels of oil per day, according to data from the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
Last year, Petrobras extracted an average of 2.172 million barrels per day. For this year, the original target was 2.2 million bopd. The company has not yet released its production figures for March.
