Under Construction in Espírito Santo, Porto Central Establishes Itself as the Largest Private Deep-Water Port in Brazil, With Operations Expected in 2027.
Porto Central, located in the municipality of Presidente Kennedy (ES), is making significant progress in its construction works. The largest private deep-water port under construction in Brazil is in the initial phase of executing the southern breakwater, an essential structure to protect future logistical operations.
The preparation of the quarry that will supply the project with large rocks is nearly complete. Located 27 km from the port area, the quarry will be responsible for providing the material for the breakwater, with transport following strict environmental and logistical control.
Robust Structure and Diversified Operations at Porto Central
With a total area of 2,000 hectares, Porto Central is being developed to accommodate up to 54 berths, with a depth of up to 25 meters. This will allow for the movement of various types of cargo, such as:

The project will be implemented in phases, according to market demand. Phase 1, already underway, includes the construction of a liquid bulk terminal aimed at the transshipment of oil between ships.
Environmental Commitment Marks Porto Central Works
The works at Porto Central are accompanied by a series of mandatory environmental actions provided for in the licensing.

More than 15,000 seedlings have already been planted, with a goal of reaching 100,000 by the end of Phase 1. The extracted plant material is being crushed and incorporated into the topsoil for environmental recovery of nearby areas.
