With A Vast Market For Flying Electric Cars Advancing, This Is The First Time We Can Observe The Arrival Of The First Flying Electric Motorcycle Developed By Japan. The Flying Motorcycle Model Can Reach A Speed Of 100 Km/h
The demonstration of the first electric motorcycle took place last week, where the vehicle was showcased on a racetrack in a city located north of Tokyo, called Oyama. The flying motorcycle features a drone design; however, it can be controlled by a human riding the vehicle, and is therefore known as a “flying electric motorcycle.”

Japanese Electric Motorcycle Still Has No Expected Launch Date

In the video, which was recorded from the stands and runs for less than five minutes, it shows that the test of the A.L.I Technologies model was successful. The motorcycle pilot performed only simple movements and did not accelerate or ascend too high with the motorcycle, although the vehicle’s capabilities have already been disclosed by the company.
As it is still in the testing phases, the model does not yet have an official launch date, although the Japanese company has stated that around 200 units of the flying motorcycle are expected to be sold as early as next year. According to A.L.I Technologies, the electric motorcycle has been in development since 2017 and will not be sold for everyday use, but rather for restricted use in races, possibly arriving next year.

Japanese Company Electric Motorcycle Can Reach 100 Km/h
According to data released by the company, the flying electric motorcycle can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h, with a battery autonomy of 40 minutes. In terms of altitude, the flying vehicle can reach a height of two meters in just three seconds, despite weighing around 300 kg.
The vehicle features an internal combustion engine and six propellers, which are largely responsible for making the motorcycle resemble a drone, albeit a gigantic one compared to a regular drone.
The company announced that the 200 units expected for next year are estimated to be sold at a price of approximately R$ 3.8 million at the current exchange rate, in direct conversion.
Market For Flying Electric Cars Is Also Advancing
Just like the flying motorcycle, electric cars also promise significant advancements in the coming years. Even Gol Airlines has already stated that it plans to purchase 250 flying electric cars.
The company has made an agreement with Avalon for the models to be delivered around 2025.
