The FUP also reported that according to information received through the complaints channel created by Sindipetro-NF, daily, two to three offshore workers have left their posts on the platforms showing symptoms of the disease.
The unions accuse Petrobras of being negligent in adopting preventive health measures to avoid employee contamination by the new coronavirus.
According to the entity, the vans and helicopters transporting workers to the platforms are always full, and testing for those boarding is not being conducted at some airports.
“And as several units are reporting suspected and confirmed cases of covid-19, testing for those disembarking, which should be done, is not occurring, putting their families at risk when returning home. Even the transportation of employees is being done irregularly. Vans and helicopters continue to operate at their normal capacity, generating crowds,” stated the FUP.
Number of Infected Workers Continues to Grow on Petrobras Platforms

In total, 625 cases of infected workers have been recorded, including those working for companies that carry out oil exploration and production activities in Brazil. The previous day, there were 582 cases.
