Even during the pandemic, the group’s companies opened more than a thousand job openings. According to Matheus Fonseca, HR manager at Movile, the companies are expected to exceed this number in 2021, as the more than 800 announced vacancies are all available now.
The group already had flexibility in its work mode before the lockdown, so they were able to adapt quickly to the remote model. In the new job openings, they could geographically expand their search for new talent and want to continue expanding the team without limitations.

For the job openings now, about 45% of the vacancies will be for the technology team, focusing on the areas of data, engineering, and product. But the group is also looking for professionals in sales, logistics, marketing, human resources, among others.
And the HR manager reveals the three main characteristics they are looking for in candidates: the ability to learn, resilience, and communication.
Among the job openings, some are marked as exclusive for the Empretece program. At the end of last year, the group announced the initiative focusing on black professionals and committed to filling senior to executive positions only when finding someone with that profile.
