According to reports from the Firefighters, there were no injuries. Due to the incident, Ambev’s factory temporarily suspended its activities, but Ambev reported that it has already resumed its normal production pace.
Ambev employees reported, according to the Firefighters, that the noise at the moment of the explosion was very loud. Despite this, firefighters stated that there was no damage to the structure of the damaged tank, and the causes of the explosion will be examined and investigated.

A beer tank exploded at Ambev’s factory in Juatuba, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. The incident occurred late on Friday night (25) and temporarily halted beverage production at the site.
Workers who were in the factory at the time of the explosion reported hearing a very loud noise. They also said that the fire alarm went off, causing confusion at the facility. Some of them went to the entrance of Ambev.
In an audio that went viral on social media, one of the Ambev employees who was in the factory at the moment of the explosion described the shock. He did not identify himself. “I thought everything was going to fall on us, God forbid. I have never been so frightened. My legs are still shaking,” he said.
According to the Fire Department, the problem was resolved by the company itself, with no apparent damage to the structure. Furthermore, the firefighters stated that no one was injured. The area near the tank was isolated. After the inspection by the firefighters, the factory resumed normal operations.
