After Petrobras Granted Preventive And Corrective Maintenance Contracts For Eleven Platforms To The Oil And Gas Contractor, Engeman, the Brazilian state-owned company launches a billion-dollar bidding for next month, where the winning companies will provide maintenance and repair services for offshore platforms in the Campos Basin.

The mega bidding for maintenance and repair services for platforms in the Campos Basin, which was scheduled for October, has been postponed by the state-owned company to December 7. The date for opening the envelopes will involve national competition and will take place in a closed format.

Lot 1 is the largest lot offered by Petrobras and includes contracts for servicing platforms P-18, P-19, P-20, P-35, P-43, P-47, P-48, P-61, and P-63. The big winner of the bidding will secure a contract worth R$ 734.8 million with the state company. The platforms in Lot 1 belong to the Marlim, Barracuda, and Papa-Terra fields.
Lot 2
Being the smallest of all and with a budget of R$ 189.4 million, Lot 2 includes platforms P-09, P-26, P-32, P-33, and P-37. For the most part, the units will enter the decommissioning phase starting next year.
Lot 3
With a budget of R$ 575.8 million, the big winner of the bidding will provide maintenance services for platforms P-38, P-40, P-51, P-53, and P-56, located in the Marlim field.
Lot 4
With a value of R$ 498.4 million, Lot 4 will be dedicated to platforms that are in campaigns with a Maintenance And Safety Unit (UMS).
The winners of the bidding will have three years to complete the services outlined in the contract, which include structural services, plating and flooring grids; instrumentation; surface preparation and application of painting and coating schemes; equipment services; among many others.
