To remember, the vessels signed a one-year contract in August 2018 with two options of six months in Brazil. These contracts began in December of the same year.
Subsequently, in December 2019, the unidentified charterer exercised the first of the two six-month options for each of the vessels.
As of June 30, 2020, Siem Offshore’s fleet consisted of 33 vessels, nine of which were deployed in Brazil, including Siem Giant and Siem Atlas, both measuring 87.90 meters in length.
The vessels have been operating in Brazil since their deliveries. Both constructed by the Vard shipyard in Niterói under the PSV 09 CD design, Siem Atlas was delivered in 2013 and Siem Giant in 2014.
According to VesselsValue, the two vessels have worked over the years for only two companies – Petrobras and Total
