Event Proves The Determining Role Of Technology In Logistics
It is undeniable that logistics has undergone constant transformations in recent decades. The processes have evolved from back-end operations to important protagonists within companies, regardless of the sectors they operate in. It is undeniable that logistics today determines a business’s competitiveness, conditioning its survival in the market.
This revolution has been largely driven by technological advancement, which has allowed for more efficient and intelligent management of all logistical stages, from production to delivery to the end customer. Today, without a shadow of a doubt, technology is a catalyst for optimizing supply chain management.
Order management systems (OMS) have evolved and now offer a holistic view of processes, enabling real-time tracking of inventory, transportation, production, sales, and demand. This data integration not only improves predictability but also assists in strategic decision-making, allowing companies to adapt quickly to market changes.
