About thermoelectric plants in Camaçari, Bahia
As already mentioned in another article here on the CPG news portal, the thermoelectric plants in Bahia aim to end CO2 emissions in the atmosphere. The plants built in Camaçari, in the state of Bahia, have a structure that is completely powered by natural gas. At first, the plant would use biomass, however, the previous project was not successful. Thus, the company took on the idea of the thermoelectric power plant.
The Camaçari thermoelectric plants, in Bahia, received an initial investment of R$ 180 million. They will be composed of a combination of three types of power plants. The plant models presented in the Imetame project constitute the gas-to-wire model, according to Gilson Pereira, executive director of Imetame.
Generation of new jobs
Imetame Energia started a selection process to hire technicians for the plants in Camaçari, Bahia. The company is looking for people residing in the locality or in other states. Imetame operates throughout the country and its operations include manufacturing, assembly, steel, Mining and Oil and Gas and industrial maintenance in the Pulp and Paper segments.
